Welcome to HollyDee Quilts!

Thanks for stopping by to visit. Please be sure to pop in to my gallery and if you are on Facebook check thelinks page to keep up to date with current quilts, designs and other interesting quilting tidbits that I post on Facebook.

I started quilting when I lived in Utah. My friend Holly (hence HollyDee Quilts) and I signed up for a quilt class in 1992 or 1993 and we never looked back. I love the creativity of quilting, the changing fabrics, re-creating the traditional quilts, but most of all I love the friends I have made all over the country.

My journey into longarm quilting began in 2000, when I purchased a Gammill Classic. My current machine is a Gammill Optimum Plus (stitch regulated).

I appreciate and understand the time, energy and investment you have made to create your quilt top. Your work is special and unique and will be handed down from generation to generation. My goal is to enhance your hard work and together create a wonderful quilt that will stand the test of time.

I also enjoy teaching quilting classes and am always available to advise you on various decisions you will be making about your quilt top and the quilting. I also enjoy participating in block swaps, what a wonderful memory I have of so many friends.
